As a young man I was always fascinated by great photos in magazines such as Life, Post, National Geographic, Arizona Highways.
That love developed in purchasing my first camera a little Kodak Brownie using 120 film. Back when I was in the 8Th grade in school.
I took as many pictures I could with what little pocket money I had for film. Living in a small town in MO it would take a week before you got your film developed; I couldn't wait to see the results. Isn't it wonderful how we can change with digital.
Then I was in the Army in the 60's I got my first 35mm a Sears range finder. I shot mostly transparencies, then I got a Pentax, Minolta, and then a Nikon.
I worked in the lab a great deal printing B&W and color prints from positive slides.
I love to travel probably due to my extensive travels with 26 years in the Army.
I love all forms of photos, I look at it as a form of art and nothing else. It is truly a way to capture a moment that the photographer felt at the time, who can't draw a strait line such as myself.
I hope that you enjoy looking at my photos as much as I had a blast getting there and taking the photo.
